This was for an article in Prospects about how social media can contribute to political polarisation.

Some initial back-of-the-envelope sketches. I was playing with ideas of blindness, facing in opposite directions, and the concept of social media acting as a wedge between people.

For phase two I usually try to distil these initial ideas to their simplest form, and combine them where possible. These two sketches were the ones I presented to the client.
