I was asked to do a circus-themed wine label to be used on a Sauvignon Blanc and a Verdejo produced by a local wine merchant. They wanted to reflect the wine's cheeky nature. (That's just about exhausted my limited wine vocabulary).
Here are some initial sketches. Needless to say I had to sample some of the merchandise to make sure I was pitching the character right.
The finished product. Saltimbanqui is the Spanish word for acrobat.
